Door control relay modules ensure compatibility of access hardware components and simplify system installation and troubleshooting. Fused lock outputs provide individual circuit protection. The isolated relay design allows small gauge cable runs of 20-gauge wire up to 1000 feet from the control device (trigger) to the CR4 module. The CR4 module operates on 12 or 24VDC and provides control logic and interface for up to (4) doors. Each of the four station accepts a Dry (NO) trigger input and provides one (1) fused 2 Amp SPDT output (jumper selectable wet or dry) and one (1) Non-fused Dry 2 Amp SPDT output. Closing a switch across the Dry Trigger Input for Stations A, B, C or D will actuate the outputs for the amount of time that the trigger input is held closed. The auxiliary outputs can be used to indicate status or provide logic for multi-door mantraps and complex systems. | |

Learn more about Relays
A power relay is an electrically operated switch that is used to control the flow of electrical current in a circuit. It consists of a coil of wire, a movable armature, and a set of contacts. When an electric current is applied to the coil, it creates a magnetic field that activates the armature, causing it to move and close the contacts. This allows the relay to control the flow of electricity to a load, such as an electric motor or a light bulb, by switching it on or off.
There are several benefits to using a power relay in electrical systems:
Isolation: A power relay allows electrical current to be switched on or off without the need for a person to physically touch the wires, providing a level of isolation between the user and the electrical circuit.
Safety: Power relays can be used to automatically disconnect power to a circuit in the event of an overload or fault, helping to prevent electrical fires and other accidents.
Control: Power relays can be used to control the flow of electrical current in a circuit, allowing for precise control over the operation of electrical devices.
Efficient: Power relays can be used to control high-power loads with a low-power signal, making them more efficient than other types of switches.
Reliability: Power relays are known for their reliability and long life, making them a popular choice in electrical systems where dependability is important.
Very happy in every regard with the product, pricing, responsiveness requests, and the really careful, thorough packaging. You clearly recognized that the hassles incurred by "cheaping out" on packaging just isn't worth the (risky) savings of adding another bucks worth of packing material. Speed was great too!
